MAC forensics is the investigation of a crime that occurred on or using a MAC device. This can include anything from retrieving deleted files to analyzing system logs to determine what happened. MAC forensics is a relatively new field, so there are still many unknowns. But as more and more people use MACs for everything from business to personal use, the need for MAC forensics experts will only continue to grow.
